Just a dorky college student who lives for hugs and procrastinates way too much.
I love Journey. Steve Perry is my dream man. I'm pretty serious about that.

TELL ME EVERYTHING

Haha. I called the number and was asked by some dude what I wanted to ask Neal. Already, I was fumbling my words. I was placed on hold (I’m in!), and my heart was POUNDING.
Suddenly, the call dropped!! I called back, and the producer put me on hold again. After a while, I was connected to the show! I must’ve fumbled my words again, but I gained my composure and asked about how they came about Dream, After Dream.

We didn’t exchange a whole lot of words, but he heard my stupid voice, and he did talk about the soundtrack. Hopefully, that will pique his fans’ interest in that work, a search for the movie, and a sharing of it over the internet because I really want to see it and I forgot to ask him if he knows where I can find it but he probably doesn’t know because he himself hasn’t seen it!

*pant pant*

omg

I can think of weird things when I’m sleepy.

Once, I was lying in bed at night and I started thinking about the song Lady Luck by Journey.
FOR SOME REASON, it made complete sense to me that the song was about a guy who was in love with a prostitute.

The lyrics

Roll the dice, roll them twice
My, my, can you spare a dime?

meant that he gambles to try to win money to use on her, because he’s broke from all the money he’s spent.

…my lady’s so hard to find…

The lady, she’s gone
The lady, she’s gone!

This meant that she’s just a prostitute with no real attachment with him, but he doesn’t realize it, so he’s wondering where she is.

THE WEIRDEST STUFF MAKES SENSE TO ME WHEN I’M SLEEPY. I SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO THINK AT NIGHT.
